AoG Shipwrights

.

Shipwright Qualifications

In effort to maintain the high standards set forth by the Yellow Caste of Builders, Shipwrights must meet certain criteria in order to register seaworthy ships with the Armada of Gor.

  1. If the builder is not of Torvald decent, he/she must be registered as a builder.

  2. You may also have your Administrator/Ubar send in a scroll notifying the AoG that your character is a registered builder within your city’s caste registry.

  3. Builders who have attained the status of Master within his or her Caste, and who have consistently registered ships with the AoG for three or more mun months, may register two ships per mun week under the name of one (1) apprentice builder (npc or munned).

  4. All munned apprentice builders and all Torvs must submit logs for the first eight (8) weeks in which you submit ships for registration.

You  may apply to one of the following Castes to receive training to become a registered shipwright:

Licensed Builders of Gor (LBGor)

Builders Registry of Gor (BRoG)

Port Kar Caste of Builders (PKCoB)

Ship Ownership

  1. All ships belong to the mun of the ship owner's Screen Name (SN).

  2. Transfers must be done by the SN of the ship's Owner.

  3. If a character dies, the Owner has one (1) mun month from the date of death to transfer their ships to another character or those ships will be listed as abandoned or lost at sea.

  4. In order to support realistic role play, when a character dies intestate, the ships will be transferred to the character’s closest male relative, companion, or mate. If there is no living male relative, the ship(s) will be transferred to the character’s nearest living female relative.  If, prior to the character’s death, they leave a will directing the ships to another character, the will shall  be honored.

  5. If a SN is deleted for a lengthy period of time without prior notice to .MarcusODaar@aol.com   the ships belonging to that SN will be listed as abandoned or lost at sea, depending on where that ship is listed at port.

  6. Restore/Delete SN are permitted provided the ship owner mun informs the site administrator or scribe that the SN is r/d and a profile for the character exists.
